Strapping On Our Feed Bags!

Growing up, my mom and I went out to eat on the weekends for lunch or dinner.  Sometimes both.  Even though I now live two hours away from her, we still manage to keep our tradition alive. 

Our motto can be summed up by the wise words on this coaster that I picked up from Ruby Tuesday a few years ago  -

 We really like to eat.  And we really like to eat out. 

We’re by no means epicureans.  We prefer diner fare or chain food offerings.  That’s not to say we don’t break out of our culinary comfort zones every once in a while to try something new.  We do – especially when we’re traveling or we’re with friends who encourage us to try something we’ve never had before. 

A few years ago, my mom started taking pictures of the meals that we had while we were on our vacations.  I thought it was a little strange but it made her happy – and it made the vacation albums more interesting. 

So we decided to start this blog to record all the great food that we’ve had – or will have – on our various adventures.   Because for us – it’s not just about the eating out but the fun that we have during the whole experience.

And since there’s always room at our table, we hope you’ll join us on our food adventures!
